New Remote WinLIMS Help Desk Retainer Pack
Virtually all companies are operating 'leaner and meaner' these days. Staff members are asked to do more tasks and employee turnover is rising. These trends have led WinLIMS users to ask the QSI support staff to perform tasks that are not covered under the maintenance and upgrade contract (see the QSI Maintenance-Contract).
With this in mind, QSI is offering a new level of service in 2011 named ‘The Remote WinLIMS Help Desk Retainer Pack’ that is designed to accommodate these trends and to alleviate the stress that can be incurred when a LIMS issue arises (and you don’t have the time or knowledge level to perform). The items covered by this service include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Education (end user training)
• System Configuration (screen design)
• Data Setup (test methods, calculations, etc.)
• Report Design
• Customization Services
• etc.
Because you never know when you might need these services, a "retainer" pricing model will be used where you simply "pre-pay" 10 days worth of services at a flat rate of $10,000 per "Retainer Pack". This is priced at a 43% discount off of our standard daily rate of $1,750 per day. You can use these days as you need them and we will record the amount of time spent on each task within an interactive site that you can monitor.
If this is not an acceptable option, your support person will inform you when the requested work goes beyond support and requires QSI consultation services in order to allow you to get permission to pay for these services. In an effort to provide you with quick turnaround for this level of service, QSI will also be accepting payment via Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX).
With this in mind, QSI will be much stricter in 2011 by charging for services that are not included within the support agreement.
